Abrau-Durso Group Wraps Up Harvesting Season 2025 with Record Highs

Abrau-Durso turns 155 years old on November 25, 2025. On the holiday, the Abrau-Durso Group summarizes the harvest results for the anniversary year— the total volume amounted to a record 26,667 tons of berries. The result was significant at the vineyards in Abrau-Durso and Anapa, where 10,940 tons were harvested— the highest figure in the last six years. For the first time ever, 1,428 tons of grapes were harvested at Vedernikov Winery with a record yield of 7 tons/ha. The volume of processed raw materials at the Yubileynaya winery also reached a maximum value of 25,000 tons.
The vineyards of the Abrau-Durso Group occupy about 4,000 hectares. The success of the harvesting campaign was achieved despite the difficult weather conditions this year in the Group's key vine-growing regions. Experts note the high quality of the 2025 harvest, which will be reflected in the producer's future wines.
An important feature of the season was night harvesting, which was used for the first time on plots at the Prostorny farm of the Anapa district. Also, for the first time, the Abrau-Durso vine-growers used a new generation of self-propelled application drones designed for automated crop treatment. They are equipped with a navigation and control system that allows precise and efficient spraying of plants without the use of other devices.
One of the main components of the stable development of the Abrau-Durso Group of Companies is the availability of its own resource base and its systematic expansion. In 2025, 36.5ha of classic European varieties were planted on the territory of Yubileynaya. It is important to note that all the seedlings were grown in a new in-house nursery at the Yubileynaya farming company, which guarantees quality and compliance with the planting terroir.
"The 2025 harvest has become outstanding for the Abrau-Durso Group, despite the caprices of nature, both in terms of volume and quality of berries. We are getting factual confirmation of how systematic investments in the development of our own vineyards, nursery farming and innovative technologies are bearing fruit. This result confirms the correctness of the strategy we chose, which lays a solid foundation for the future development of the Group," said Elena Zaritskaya, CEO of PJSC Abrau-Durso.
