Music and Summer in Abrau-Durso: The Light Weekend Festival Concluded

For the fifth time, the main musical event of the summer returned to the Black Sea coast. On the first Saturday of August, the Abrau-Durso resort gathered guests for a festival that over the years has evolved from a simple concert into a true hit — people come here for bright emotions, top tracks, and that unique holiday feeling found nowhere else. MOT and Lolita became the headliners of the anniversary Light Weekend 2026, with DJ MUWIN and AMCHI also performing on stage.
Over five years, Light Weekend has grown from a local resort music event into a festival that guests specifically plan their trips to Abrau-Durso for. Here, modern music, gastronomy, relaxation by the lake, and a special atmosphere come together, attracting more and more fans each year.
The Light Weekend festival featured performances by MOT and Lolita — two powerful artists, two worlds meeting in Abrau-Durso. Joined by DJ MUWIN and AMCHI, they created the festival's signature high-energy vibe, where every track delivered a 100% boost.
MOT, performing on stage in Abrau-Durso for the first time, captivated the audience from the very first minutes with his drive. Born in Krymsk, Krasnodar Krai, the artist warmly addressed the crowd: "I'm home!" —words that resonated deeply with every spectator. Mot performed his poignant hits: "Ona Tantsuet pod Shadé", "Den' i Noch", "Kogda Muzhchina Vlyublyon", "Absolyutno Vsyo", and "Kak k Sebe Domoy". Together with his dance crew, the hitmaker staged his signature towel show — the viral social media trend that has become a striking detail of his performances. The crowd enthusiastically picked up the moves, and the stage literally sparkled with energy.
Lolita, who also performed at the Abrau-Durso venue for the first time, charmed the audience from the very first notes with her charisma, masterfully improvising and engaging in dialogue with the crowd. Her tracks "Ty Moyo More", "Shampanskoye", and "Orientatsiya Sever" turned Alexander II Square into a massive open-air dance floor. A touching highlight was her warm interaction with the audience: following tradition, Lolita's fans held up posters showing the titles of the songs they wanted to hear.
Every memorable moment was accompanied by a carefully designed visual production: gold and silver confetti, shimmering balls, streams of smoke, and light effects created a sense of magic. Smoke machines operated at full power, turning the square into a stage for a grand show.
Throughout the festival, guests relaxed in gastronomic zones, explored local cuisine, enjoyed Abrau-Durso sparkling wines, and spent time at the resort, which has long been not just a venue for the festival, but an integral part of it. Light Weekend is not just about sound, but a special festive mood!
"This Light Weekend became the largest in five years — the brightest and most star-studded. We set a high standard, and now it will be difficult to surpass it, but we know for sure: next year we definitely will. Our festival is a large-scale event that has long outgrown the concert format. Today, it is a point of attraction for those who share the philosophy and lifestyle of Abrau-Durso: the best music, refined gastronomy, attention to detail, and a fine ability to enjoy the moment. We see how our audience grows every year — and the fifth Light Weekend becomes a new proof that we are creating a celebration people want to return to," commented Irina Goncharova, Vice President of Abrau-Durso Group for Tourism and Special Projects.
