New Achievements: Abrau-Durso Group Reports 2025 Results

Abrau-Durso Group of Companies, the leader of the Russian sparkling wine market[1], has summed up its 2025 results, demonstrating sustained growth across all key financial and economic indicators: sales volume, revenue, net profit, and EBITDA.= These achievements were driven by the company’s strong market position, effective management, and the development of new business areas within the Group.
For the 12 months of 2025, total sales volume amounted to 68.142 million bottles, 2% higher than in 2024. Under IFRS, the Group’s revenue reached 19.831 billion rubles, increasing by 7% on a year-to-year basis (18.460 billion rubles in 2024, IFRS)[2]. Net profit increased by 4% to 1.903 billion rubles (1.837 billion rubles in 2024, IFRS). EBITDA amounted to 4.643 billion rubles (4.307 billion rubles in 2024, IFRS). All key indicators demonstrated positive year-to-year dynamics, confirming the Group’s operational stability.
The company’s retail sales growth outpaced the market[3]: in monetary terms, growth compared with the previous year amounted to 28.7%, while in volume terms it was up 13.8%. Distribution reached levels close to its maximum: in Q4 2025, weighted distribution amounted to 98.2%. Sales growth was driven both by increased distribution and by the expansion of the product range in retail chains. Following the results of 2025, Abrau-Durso continued to lead sparkling wine sales in monetary terms and also became the leader in Q4 in volume terms.
Thus, in the key sparkling wine segment for Abrau-Durso, the Abrau Durso Reserve and Imperial ranges demonstrated impressive dynamics: sales volumes exceeded the previous year’s levels by 14% and 39%, respectively. Among still wines, the Femme d’Abrau range achieved particular success, as did the Abrau collection, which increased by 24%. The non-alcoholic portfolio is actively developing: in volume terms, sales of Abrau Vinonade increased by 47%, Abrau Indian Tonic by 28%, and the 4 Waters collection by 26%. Abrau-Durso is also strengthening its position in the spirits segment, where Abrau brandy was the main growth driver: its sales more than doubled. Chameleon gin grew by 17%, while Abrau Mix aperitif increased by 22%.
The performance of Abrau-Durso Group of Companies received high recognition from leading rating agencies and the professional community. The Analytical Credit Rating Agency (ACRA) confirmed the credit rating of PJSC Abrau-Durso at A+(RU) with a stable outlook, while Expert RA confirmed the rating at ruA+ with a stable outlook, noting the resilience of the company’s financial performance, strong market position, and effective management model. Further evidence of the high level of the management team was the inclusion of representatives of Abrau-Durso Group in the Top 1,000 Russian Managers ranking of the Association of Managers of Russia and Kommersant Publishing House, where six company executives took leading positions in the FMCG segment.
Last year, Abrau-Durso Group of Companies effectively worked with financial instruments, including instruments that were new to the industry. The debut bond issue, with a nominal volume of 500 million rubles, a coupon rate of 15.50% per annum, and a term of 1.5 years, was successfully completed. Total demand amounted to more than 6.5 billion rubles against an announced issue volume of 500 million rubles. An important initiative was the issuance of digital financial assets (DFAs) backed by collectible still and sparkling wines of Abrau-Durso Group of Companies. The placement of the DFAs on Sber’s platform was successful: 100% of the issue was sold within three days, confirming the high level of investor interest in the company’s alternative investment instruments and the potential of collectible Russian wines as a new asset class.
Record results were achieved in the vineyards of Abrau-Durso Group: the total volume of harvested grapes amounted to 26,667 tonnes. The Group’s vineyards currently cover an area of 4,100 hectares.
Abrau-Durso Group continued its international expansion and strengthened its presence in Asia, the Middle East, and Africa, where interest in quality wines is growing. India is viewed as a priority partner, while the African market is considered a long-term direction.
The past period was marked by new victories for Abrau-Durso Group wines, which won 86 awards at Russian and international competitions, bringing the company’s overall portfolio of achievements to 452 awards in recent years. Among the key results were a platinum medal at the Shanghai International Wine Challenge, double gold at TERRAVINO, gold at the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, as well as recognition at other international competitions. A particular victory was the Grand Prix at the prestigious AVVR Cup, awarded to the 2025 new release — Vedernikov Winery — Tverdy Znak. Another notable achievement was first place in the nationwide Top100Wines ranking for the sparkling wine Brut d’Or Riesling, which also received the title of "Wine of the Year". The high ratings of the Group’s products were also confirmed by the expert Artur Sarkisyan and RBC Wine Guide and the Roskachestvo ranking, further strengthening Abrau-Durso’s position as one of the leaders of Russian winemaking both internationally and in Russia.
Abrau-Durso Group presented new offerings in various categories, continuing to develop its product portfolio. An important event was the launch of the Abrau Art Collection, an annual project that the company creates jointly with renowned artists. In 2025, the design of the Imperial classic sparkling wine was created by Andrey Dyukov. Among the new 2025 releases were the collection of aged ports Agdame Reserve and Femme d’Abrau Rose, as well as an expansion of the range in the Abrau Vinonade non-alcoholic series, while development began on new projects in innovative non-alcoholic categories. Vedernikov Winery presented a new flagship range, Vedernikov Winery — Tverdy Znak, as well as the collection’s first Brut Nature, Vedernikov Winery — Sibirkovy Aligote.
Bright highlights included collaboration projects with leaders of the FMCG market. Abrau-Durso’s product range was expanded with Marmelade Cocktail with the addition of Abrau Spirits, created jointly with the Magnit retail chain, sparkling wine-flavored ice cream with the Korovka iz Korenovki brand, as well as strawberry dumplings with sparkling wine, created together with Sibirskaya Kollektsiya. The original products and creative formats attracted consumer interest and strengthened the brand’s presence in categories that are not traditional for it.
Tourism remains one of the Group’s most important areas of development. Despite the decline in tourist traffic from Anapa and the negative information environment, hotel occupancy increased by 5% on the year-to-year basis. A major international achievement was the victory at the large-scale international Global Wine Tourism Organisation (GWTO) summit in China: the project received the top award, "Best Responsible Wine Tourism Experience", confirming Abrau-Durso’s international recognition and confident leadership in this segment in Russia.
The Group’s ecosystem projects also developed successfully. Within the lifestyle business, Abrau Club introduced a new loyalty and club benefits system of the same name, which brought together travel, restaurants, stores, and other Group services. The Vino.ru platform continued its development and introduced an updated version of the Digital Sommelier service, while also significantly increasing the representation of small wineries, whose number reached 119.
"2025 once again confirmed that sustainable growth in today’s environment is possible only when a business operates as efficiently as possible, is not afraid of challenges, and sees new opportunities in them. Professionalism across all areas of the Group’s operations, our willingness to bring unconventional solutions and formats to the market, the high loyalty of our consumers, and the reliability of our partners are the key components of our success. But the key point is our team that continues to turn ambitious objectives into tangible achievements, whether international awards, new sales records, or the development of Abrau-Durso’s tourism potential," commented Elena Zaritskaya, CEO of PJSC Abrau-Durso.
