New Product in the Abrau Spirits Portfolio: Abrau-Durso Presents a Special “7 Grains” Vodka
There’s a new type of vodka in the original line of spirits from the Abrau-Durso Group, which consumers already know from the “branded” number 7 on the label. It is called “7 Grains” and it is unique. This is a brand-new original product that contains a flavored spirit infused with grains such as barley, rye, wheat, corn, oats, bison grass (zubrowka), lemongrass, and buckwheat.
The Abrau-Durso Group is continuing to expand their line of strong alcoholic beverages. They have created a new range of high-alcohol content drinks called Abrau Spirits. This range includes “7 Vegetables” tincture, “7 Herbs” gin, and a color-changing Chameleon gin. In addition, they also offer cognacs made from the best cognac distillates of different categories, including ordinary Abrau and “1870 Abrau-Durso” matured cognacs along with high-quality matured cognacs. These products have already gained popularity with professionals and customers. This time, Abrau Spirits has added a new drink to their collection that embodies the customs of Russian distilling.
“7 Grains” vodka is made using fragrant alcohol infused with grains. The alcohol is distilled at reduced pressure, which allows distillation at a low temperature while maintaining the intensity and distinctiveness of each component. The ingredients of the alcohol used in “7 Grains” include not only the well-known cereal plants: barley, rye, wheat, corn, and oats, but also wild Hierochloe, better known as bison grass (or sweet grass), lemongrass, and aromatic buckwheat. Each ingredient is not just random: the combination of plants creates an original composition of the drink. The blend of grains creates a harmonious flavor, with notes of green buckwheat and mixed herbs, and a hint of just-out-of-the-oven rye bread. The taste of the vodka is mild, with a long and pleasant aftertaste.
“The concept of our line of hard liquors, united by the number 7 on the label, is based on an original approach to well-known drinks. Each product in the ‘7’ line has its unique style. The ‘7 Grains’ vodka is no stranger to it either—a subtle composition of taste and aroma with notes of grain and buckwheat gives this classic product a new and original twist in the elegant style of Abrau-Durso,” Pavel Titov, President of the Abrau-Durso Group, comments.
Boris Titov, the main shareholder of the Abrau-Durso Group, founded the “7” line. It was he who invented the “7 Vegetables” tincture and started a series of strong drinks with an original approach.
Special “7 Grains” vodka is presented in volumes of 0.5 and 0.7 liters. The new product is already available at the Atelier of Wine; the cost of a 0.5 liter bottle is 617 rubles.
